Palo Santo, or Holy Stick (Bursera Graveolens) is a natural wood aromatic incense used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune, and medicinal purposes.  It has a pleasing citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative.  This Palo Santo is sustainably wild harvested from naturally fallen trees and branches that lay dead for 4-10 years before they are harvested.
 
How is it used?
Set an intention.  Example:  "I'm clearing any negative energy thats on me and bringing positivity in to replace it."  Use a lighter and light one end of the palo santo stick.  Let it catch on fire for 10-20 seconds and then blow it out.  The smoke is cleansing your enegy.  Move the stick so the smoke is cleansing wherever you'd like it to cleanse whether its on yourself or in your home.  Lastly, give gratitude for the palo santo in assisting your in cleansing yourself or the space you're in.
